Abracadabra! In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—removes a stubborn lipoma stuck to a woman’s back. This lipoma has been nicknamed The Magician’s Handkerchief by Dr. Lee —and for good reason. It just keeps coming and coming.

In the clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision across the length of the large lipoma, which is situated right below the patient’s neck on her back. The famed dermatologist then uses her fingers to loosen the growth from internal structures, wiggling her finger between the patient’s skin and the fatty mass. Dr. Lee is able to hook her finger into the lipoma, pulling the growth out of the incision. But the lipoma doesn’t go easy. Instead of coming out in a big blob like lipomas usually do, the growth comes out in a long piece, similar to a magician’s never-ending handkerchief.

“Why is it so stretchy?!” one fan commented in dismay. Another added, “What a tough one!” This mega mass certainly did put up a fight.

A lipoma is a fatty noncancerous growth that grows between the skin and muscle. It is usually a yellowish-orange color, and commonly occurs in this precarious back-of-the-neck location.
