How Fat Are Americans

The CDC has been studying the obesity problem in the United States. They are concerned as all of us are by the health risks of obesity. The results of a 2018 survey were alarming. At least 35% of adults in Arkansas, Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, and West Virginia were obese. The results indicate that a large percentage of the population will fail to meet the government’s Healthy People 20/20 goal of an overall rate of 30.5% for adults.
